Raffle Prizes at Paddle: Win a Topper Daz Dinghy or talking ‘Paddle Bear’
The first prize is a fantastic Topper Taz sailing dinghy! This has been generously donated by Topper and is described as “the most affordable family or school boat for one or two people. Two sails for two people – perfect for young families and ideal for sailing schools.”
The second raffle is for a one-off handmade talking ‘Paddle Bear’! It’s a beautiful bear, made by the very clever Lynn McChambell, is around 12 inches tall that says “hello Im the Paddle Bear” when you squeeze her. She also comes complete with her own Paddle outfit – a tshirt, trousers, trainers and hoodie that all feature this year’s logo.
Raffle tickets for both of these will be available from the main registration tent at the Paddle site. The tickets for the Paddle Bear are £1 each and for the Topper they are £5 each. Deadline for ticket sales is 4pm on Sunday 8 July.
All monies raised from the sale of these raffle tickets will be added to our charity fund, that gets split three-ways between the RNLI, Winston’s Wish and Surf Action.
The prize draw will take place at the Kid’s Stage area on Sunday 8 July at 5pm.
Terms & conditions:
Paddle Bear Raffle – if the bear is not claimed at the time of drawing the winning ticket then a second ticket shall be drawn and continue to be drawn until a winning ticket can be presented to the organiser. No cash alternative will be offered and the decision of the organiser is final.
Topper Taz Raffle – entrants must ensure they leave their full contact details on the rear of the ticket including their mobile telphone number and email address. By entering this raffle you understand that the boat must be removed from the Paddle site by 14.00 on Monday the 9th of July and it is the wiining bidders sole responsibilty to do this. PRTP will not be held responsible for the transportation or insurance of the boat at any time. Immediately after the first winning ticket is drawn a second will be recovered and kept in a sealed envelope and only opened should the initial winner not claim their prize by the allocated time on July 9th. Failure to collect the boat will mean the next ticket drawn will be awarded the prize. Please not there is no cash alternative offered and the organisers decision is final.
