Calling all Swimmers!!!

Paddle love the water and we want you to as well.

[box]We would love you to come and join us for an iconic 1.25k swim around the West Pier run by Swimtrek or a longer 2.5k circular swim along Hove Lawns run by SLSGB.[/box]

These swims are fully supported so there will be lots of paddleboarders, canoeists and safety boats keeping an eye on you.
Worried that you will get left behind in a big tidal wave of swimmers?
Whilst there are lots of people who do it fast, the vast majority are leisurely swimmers who just like to enjoy the sea and enjoy the wonderful panoramic views of the seafront from a different perspective or pool swimmers taking their first foray into the sea. The wide smiles on the faces of everyone finishing their swim sum up the amazing experience of Swim Around The Pier.

Not sure if you can manage the whole distance or if you have the confidence to go out that far, why not try one of our one-to-one escorted sea swims run by Brighton Swimming School?

[box]Full details are available in the What’s On – Water Events section of the Paddle Round The Pier website. Come on in – the water’s lovely!!![/box]

Alternatively, Brighton Surf Life Saving Club are running an event called Women in Waves on Saturday 14th June. The idea is to give women aged 30+ the confidence to go in the sea so they can enjoy the beach, and all it has to offer. Entry cost for this event is £20.00 per person.
